Sanjay Bangar Resigns As Kings XI Punjab Coach – India’s current batting coach and Head coach of Kings XI Punjab has stepped down as the coach of KXIP. Sanjay Bangar, former Indian all-rounder was appointed as the assistant coach in 2014. He was promoted to head coach in 2015, but the performance of KXIP was not up to the mark and hence Sanjay Bangar has resigned from this post. Sanjay Banger revealed about his resignation during one of the interviews conducted on Saturday. Bangar told the media that he had submitted his resignation in last week of November to the franchise and received a response in the second week of December. Due to busy schedule of India-England series, Bangar delayed the announcement.

Bangar mentioned that three years of coaching at KXIP helped him to learn the intricacies of coaching. Thanking the team, Bangar added that it was a great journey. Reaching the finals of IPL was the most memorable and best part of my journey.
Who will be next KXIP Coach?
Following Sanjay Banger’s resignation, all eyes are one who will become the next head coach of Kings XI Punjab. As per some sources, Virender Sehwag is most likely contender for this post. Virender Sehwag’s appearance in two three editions of IPL for Kings XI Punjab may give him edge over other contenders.
